Stamford CT, Wednesday 30th June, 2010 : Aladdin Capital Holdings is pleased to announce the appointment of Constance Hunter as Chief Economist.  Ms. Hunter brings extensive international economic experience to her new position, having served as Chief Economist at Galtere Ltd. (2009-2010) and Founder and Chief Investment Officer at Coronat Asset Management (2004-2010).  In the latter role, Ms. Hunter indentified macro themes and invested in global equity and FX markets to capitalize on these themes. Prior to that, Ms. Hunter was a Partner and Portfolio Manager at Quantrarian Capital Management, a hedge fund that invests in Asian markets. In addition, Ms. Hunter has worked as a Portfolio Manager at Salomon Smith Barney, Inc. and Firebird Management, LLC.  Ms. Hunter is widely published and her opinion is regularly sought by leading global and national economic affairs commentators. She will report to Dr. Scott MacDonald, the Head of Credit and Economics Research.
