The Structured Products Group at Aladdin manages the firm's exposure to the residential mortgage-backed, asset-backed, and commercial mortgage-backed securities markets.  The Group, which has been in existence since 2005 at Aladdin,  possesses experience at major originators, underwriters (Wall Street) and buy-side asset management firms prior to joining Aladdin.  This expertise across multiple channels of the origination, securitization and investment portions of the structured products markets has proven to be a competitive advantage in sourcing, analyzing and investing in products for investors.

Biographies:

ANATOLY BURMAN, Senior Managing Director: Prior to joining Aladdin, Mr. Burman was a Vice President at AIG/SunAmerica where he was responsible for managing a multi-billion dollar asset-backed portfolio for securities lending, Life companies, and total return portfolios.  Asset classes included public and 144a credit cards, auto loans and leases, equipment receivables, home equity and manufactured housing loans, and other receivables.  Previously, he was a Managing Director with W.J. Mayer & Co. where he sold securities, created new CMO structures, and was responsible for product innovation.  Mr. Burman received his BA in Economics and Computer Science from Rutgers University and his MBA from Fairfield University.

NUNZIO MASONE III, CFA, Senior Managing Director: Prior to joining Aladdin, Mr. Masone was a Senior Portfolio Manager at AIG Global Investment Corp. (AIGGIC), where he managed the residential mortgage-backed (RMBS) and asset-backed securities (ABS) credit portfolio.  Before joining AIGGIC, he was with GMAC-RFC, the largest RMBS and ABS issuer in the world, where he structured and sold mortgage-backed and asset-backed securities worldwide.  Previously, he worked for PaineWebber and Prudential Securities where he underwrote RMBS and ABS deals.  Mr. Masone has also advised financial institutions on the use of insurance as a form of capital while at Aon Risk Services.  He is a graduate of Syracuse University and has an MBA from the Columbia University Graduate School of Business.  Mr. Masone is a Chartered Financial Analyst and a member of the CFA Institute and the New York Society of Securities Analysts.

MARTIN DEVITO, Senior Managing Director:  Prior to joining Aladdin, Mr. DeVito was as a CMBS Portfolio Manager at AIG Global Investment Corp. (AIGGIC).  His responsibilities included the investment analysis of CMBS transactions as well as all trading of the portfolio. Starting in 2001, Mr. DeVito managed the CMBS portfolios globally.  He was also the lead portfolio manager for Cimarron CBO Ltd., a high grade ABS CDO that closed in December 2004.    Previously, Mr. DeVito was a Trader at Beacon Hill Asset Management focusing on Below Investment Grade Structured Credit.  From 1996-1998 he worked at Hyperion Capital Management as a Senior Credit Analyst.  Mr. DeVito earned a BBA and MBA in Finance from Hofstra University.
